About me
Who will be by your side on your Big Day?
My name is Gergő Szakály. I was born in Debrecen in the early 1990s and grew up in a family of folk dancers. I danced actively for 15 years, and performing and being on stage have been an important part of my life since childhood.
During high school, I spent several years performing at the Csokonai Theatre and toured the eastern part of Hungary with operetta productions. I moved to Budapest in 2010, where I completed both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication. During my university years, in 2011, I trained as a wedding MC alongside Máté Karlovitz.
After graduating, I worked in event management and as a presenter. Since 2017, I have been pursuing my passion for wedding MCing alongside my main profession. For me, being a wedding MC isn't about putting on a show. It's about precise logistics. I'm there to make sure all suppliers work together as one team, the schedule stays on track, and you can be fully present with your guests and enjoy your day.
